Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your assigned start time. Athletes will swim for 20 minutes, bike for 20 minutes and run for 20 minutes. Between each discipline, they will have 5 minutes to transition and move to the next location. Each athlete will swim in their own lane, bike on a stationary bike and run on an indoor track. Volunteers will count laps for the swim and run. Distance is recorded automatically by the bikes. Each athlete is racing to cover the most distance in the given time. Distance are converted to points according to the following scale: Swim: 100 points is awarded for 1 mile Bike: 100 points is awarded for 10 miles Run: 100 points is awarded for 4 miles: Points are scaled linearly. That is, for someone swimming 0.5 miles, they will receive 50 points. Swimming 0.75 miles earns 75 points.
