Dearest Jon Noll,

I am planning on traveling to Madison to observe this Ironman race and would like to reserve a spot at your humble abode. In return for lodging, I will provide you with a frosty 40 of Bud Ice. Let me know if these terms are agreeable; gracias,

Boyd

P.S. You weren't kidding about the volunteer spots filling up; I went to sign up for something a few minutes ago and pretty much all they have left are aid stations and bike/gear bag check out late at night. Looks like I shall be purely a spectator on race day; on a related note, I'm hoping to borrow my brother's vuvuzela for the weekend.

Mr. Noll,

I would also like a spot to sleep. I will likely be travelling with a Mr. Inch and a Mr. Klingler as well. So...yea...expect a ruckus (but probably no more than Severin's version of Enter Sandman).

Boyd - Of course you are welcome to stay at my place if you bring a forty of my favorite beverage.

Everyone is welcome as long as you don't all expect a bed... Bring your sleeping bag for this slumber party.

I'm alive...barely...damn it's hot in Kansas!

I'm coming to IM Moo this year...I hadn't missed a year in quite awhile until last year and I was supposed to race! (damn real world commitments to travel to Europe during IM Moo)

I'll have a buddy from Kansas with me and we're planning to arrive in the morning on Saturday...swim a loop of the course...head out and ride a loop of the bike course and then do some hanging out with MSU folks! I'm hoping that a lot of them will be interested in at least 1 of the 2 workouts listed above. Post up if that works for you...we're bringing road bikes and would love to get a group together to tear this course up! I've been getting the messages about the TNR and time trials...how come it's the year I leave that the TNR explodes? That's just not fair and I can't find a solid group down here...there's cyclists everywhere but no great group rides that I've found so far.

Hopefully I'll be seeing a lot of you in WI (the baby and Kristin will be staying home that weekend though)

My volunteer shifts:
Your request to volunteer for Transition - Change Tent MALE has been approved for the following shift:
Sep 12, 2010 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
I'll be at the first (i.e. #1 not medical:)) aid station on the run from 3pm to 7pm I'm pretty sure as well.
