Sylvania Tri August 8th

Alright so this race is coming up and I wanted to start a thread to see who else was signed up for this and to start discussing rides and places to stay. So post up if you are racing in Sylvania and discuss carpooling and what not. Hope everyone is doing fabulous! ; ) If you aren't signed up yet I would do so soon as the price increases on the 25th.

just signed up! I'll be driving down, but not yet sure where I'll be staying. I can take 3 people + 2 bikes (in addition to my stuff).

Ok here's the deal. I'm definitely doing this race. I live 45 minutes to an hour away from the race. I'm pretty sure I'm going to stay at my house the night before of the race even if people decide to camp or something because I know I'll get more sleep.

Anyone doing or spectating this race is welcome to stay at my house. We have plenty of extra beds, couches, and floor space. Just let me know sometime in the next week if you're interested.

I am signed up for this race. My goal is to finish at least 1.5 beers from the post-race beer truck before Douglass crosses the line.

Personally, Greg, I think we should add some sort of clause where each beer consumed during the race cuts a certain amount of time off of your finishing time. I feel like that gives me a pretty legit shot at doing sweet.

I'm signed up. This is the first year I wont have to lie about my age in order to drink after the race. Also, I have a place for us to camp if people are interested. My girlfriend's roommate lives no more than 10 minutes away from the race site. We would need tents/sleeping bags but it is super close. Post up if you want to stay there so I can get her a head count.

I just realized that nobody has really emphasized how AWESOME this race is yet. Thus, more of you should be signing up, right now. Consider these things:

There is a beer truck.
It's one of the few GOOD races that is within two hours and is MWCTC.
There is a beer truck.
Probably the flattest course in the world. In fact I think it's actually downhill the whole way. Don't ask me how, but if Escher can draw it, then God can build it, and the Ohio Department of Transportation can pave it.
There is a beer truck.

I think I've made my point (beer truck).
