Would those who are spinning in Dem Hall be interested in a tv? I brought one up that we don't use here, so I'd be happy to send it over there. It's not that nice or too big, but it's good enough. I don't have an extra DVD player or anything like that though, so somebody would need to provide that, unless you like watching static.

I was contacted by Jake in response to a CL posting looking for people to train with. I’ve read through the thread, and it seems that most of the weekday training is super-early in the morning, most of the weekend training also early. I’m looking to do cycling training 5 nights per week, 1-2 hours per day since I work/have class until 5 every day and have the weekends free.

The usual rigamarole for me is to play through a Spinervals or a movie with the Garmin spouting beeps at me whenever my HR drops too low. I figure this would all be a lot more fun with others ;-). I commute to/from campus (I work very nearby), so I figure I’ll also be much more motivated to train before my ride home.

I’ve got my own bike and trainer, just looking to see if anybody would be game or if I’m barking up the wrong tree :-)

(Just a heads up, I’m a roadie, but I’m not a Tri-phobe like most ;-)

Now that I have a trainer, I would like to take advantage of this room and everyone's expertise (since I know very little about cycling). I was wondering if someone would be able to show me where the room is and how to access it? The second part to this is I will need help getting my trainer to Dem Hall. I live in Case Hall and I don't own a car and am not strong enough to carry it there. If someone wouldn't mind helping me out, I would really really appreciate it! Biking is the weakest aspect for me out of the three legs, so I'm excited to get to work.

If you can help me out, my phone number is 810-247-1385 and my e-mail is idennath@msu.edu

Thanks,

Nathalie

Nathalie-
I'd be happy to swing by case sometime and pick up your trainer to bring it over to dem hall for you. I haven't been to the room though, nor do I know the combination to get in, so you'll have to talk to Rhone to get that.

I put a dvd player in the room as well as a dvd of roads, so if anyone brings a tv they are more than welcome to use it
